The Mustang by Brock Norman Brock - 8 out of 10

The Mustang by Brock Norman Brock

This interesting motion picture has enjoyed a remarkable success with the critics.

Matthias Schoenaerts gives a solid performance as Roman Coleman, the hero of the film.
He is not exactly a role model, for to begin with, he is a violent convict with a very low Emotional Intelligence quotient.
In an early interview with a psychologist, he declares that he is not good with people.

In the introduction to the movie, we learn about wild horses, their diminishing territory and what humans do for them, apart from elimination.
Roman has the chance to work with The Mustang.

Together with other inmates.
Coordinated by Myles aka the legendary Bruce Dern.

It would be a daunting task, for this man is given to fits of rage.
In one, he uses his fists to ...beat the horse.

Eventually, when he is at a nadir, the animal comes to caress him.
It would be an outstanding bond, even after the unbreakable, majestic Mustang injures the convict rather badly, after being scared by a helicopter.

The Mustang is notable, if not exhilarating.
