Tyrel, written and directed by Sebastian Silva
This is an interesting film, although it is not memorable.
It reminds me of Get Out.
One African American man, the hero who gives the name to the feature, spends time with other young men and although he is not abused like the protagonist of Get Out, it is awkward.
At times, it is more than that.
On the other hand, it could be argued that anybody else would feel embarrassed, outre in the company of these loud, pushy men.
It does not have to somebody from a minority.
But when they talk about acting like an old, black woman from New Orleans, during a game, this has some very unfortunate connotations.
In conclusion, this is an intriguing motion picture, but not exceptional.
