This comedy about three Dutch women was included in the Cinemax program and is one of the films that make it worthwhile having the HBO- Cinemax package, just like Dupree tells his hosts in another comedy, You, Me and Dupree.

Gijsje - I wonder how you pronounce that name and if this or any of the others are correct, given that I do not remember them and I just used the information I get online, which in the case of this film, not exactly the Green Book coming from the Netherlands, is scarce - works for an advertising agency.
Marjolein is her sister and Loes their eccentric mother - again, if names are not mistaken.

Gijsje lives with Jasper and although they have no children, they seem to be obsessed with the idea, perhaps the woman more than the man, given that she is more determined, stronger, braver and overall seems better than the rather naive, somewhat weak Jasper.
As an advertising executive, she is very creative, active and appreciated, especially by her colleague Dominique, who has what may appear to be an inappropriate interest.

In the climate of this age, his behavior would not be the Weinstein type of abuse, but it looks like harassment at times.
Dominique is benevolent, attracted by his colleague and competitor, and we could look at his jokes, seductive manner, insistence with tolerance or reject it.

We may also think Joe Pesci in Goodfellas and the infamous...

"Do you think I'm funny?
Funny how?
What do you mean?"

In the Goodfellas, the Joe Pesci character is a villain and a gangster, while the Mad Man - to use another reference, to the series where people in the advertising business were called Mad Men - is just trying to make Gijsje like him.
Marjolein has three children with Thijs and she is the one who needs to spend most of the time with them, take them to school or preschool, as in the case of the youngest.

As her sister will have an affair, if a very brief, one night stand, with Dominique, Marjolein will have an increased intimacy with another parent, a father that would eventually surprise everyone, Marjolein and the audience.
Their mother, albeit in her sixties- I think - which are the new forties perhaps, is a very active woman, presumably in the domain of sex as well.

Gijsje and Dominique come with different ideas for the ad campaign that their company would present to their client, a company that could be a smaller Unilever, a producer of soap, shampoo and the similar products.

While Gijsje presents the idea of the smart home, the handsome Dominique takes his clothes off- most of them - to take a shower which has imbedded already the shampoo.
His undressing makes the women in the public gasp and Gijsje starts fantasizing and would eventually give in to the continuous advances or the relentless Don Juan.

Jasper has his own fit of rage - well, nearly - and declares that he does not like it when they always have to have an extra cob when they make love, so that they do not ruin the sheets, he has to be always careful with everything in the house, like this is a big laboratory.
Cardinal, he cannot masturbate in a cup, so that his sperm is tested to see if he is not the one responsible for their failure to have children.

He is not a sperm machine, he says.

Gijsje performs oral sex on him, so that she can deposit the sperm in the cup and then they could take it for analysis, although I was wondering if keeping this in the mouth does not impact the result.

Anyway, this becomes a scene which could be the equivalent of the defecation in the sink from Bridesmaids.
For the woman obtains the sperm, only the sterilized cup was left in the car, so she travels to find it, with the spermatozoa in her mouth and the car was not left where it should be and she has to walk and walk for a long time.

Finally, when she reaches the red Renault, a police woman is standing by it, for it is in a no parking area and she mentions the fine, tries to talk to the owner of the vehicle who keeps mumbling.
