This note must start with a warning – there is little, if anything here about the opus itself, and this will probably connect only very vaguely to Dumnezeu aka the author, if this is not wrong, I think I recall he was nicknamed God, when he was the president of the Union of Writers, in the ‘good old days of communism’…yesterday, there was this goon that made the apology of communism at the Caro sauna

 

You see that I am already departing from the ‘subject’, and continue with the…sauna, where this seventy years old fool was arguing that the power had never been cut at his flat, mentioning he lived in the center – but then who did, expect the nomenclature or acolytes of Ceausescu, he had always had meat, giving as reason that he had had the same ‘source’ (fuck you, you idiot and monster, it was your ‘connections’) and generally presenting that époque of madness and stone age as one in which you could ‘get by’

Not incidentally, the stupid commie is using the towels to wipe off…the soles of his shoes, just before he may step into his limousine, for he most likely has one, the winners in the old regime just happen to amass big fortunes in this one, the large properties have been transferred to such old guard, banks gave millions in loans to those who never pay them, just giving out the wealth of all, to the few, and the attitude of the cretin towards the towels we need to use is familiar, it was that the vented socialist system with everything belongs to all, in practice it meant that ‘some animals are more equal than others’ http://realini.blogspot.com/2022/01/animal-farm-by-george-orwell-magnum.html

 

The name is outstanding, Sweet Anastasia would not do it justice, I do not know what English word would be the equivalent of duios, which has a magic ring to it, and to apply it to a passing girl, young woman is poetic…indeed, some of the plot in the book can be appreciated, this Anastasia would take a brave stand, she is appalled that a partisan is shot dead by the Nazis and then left to rot in the middle of this village

It is just that the author is associated in my mind with the rotten system and hence unable to produce a worthy epic, which is nonsense, and I will refer as so often to Intellectuals http://realini.blogspot.com/2014/06/intellectuals-by-paul-johnson.html by Paul Johnson, a marvelous work that details the gruesome aspects in the characters of Leo Tolstoy, Henrik Ibsen, Ernest Hemingway, and we therefore conclude that to be a worthy Intellectual, one must have some Marquis De Sade within, if a small one

 

However, what prompted thoughts of Dumnezeu were the experience I have had with his…son, if I am speaking of the correct individual – the advantage in playing this game, and writing for fun, even peddling unverified innuendo is that few, if anybody reads these lines, and then if somebody does start, then they soon abandon, Alhamdulillah

 

I have met the son, but do not remember the name – was it Crista – when in Predeal, on holiday, and he played chess with me, allowing me to win, because he had been told to, I would later learn that Marius http://realini.blogspot.com/2015/10/jaeger-by-rhea-rene.html  who was a common friend, wanted to ingratiate himself, and win sympathy from my sister and hence wanted an encouraging atmosphere

Some other version, or maybe identical (I am not bothered to check), of the story is told at the link above, the son of God aka the head of the union of writers, was not happy with something or everything at home, and eloped, inviting some friends – actually, he called Marius, who had been a mate, we were connected with the latter – with him to Sinaia, where we drove in a Volkswagen Passat…

 

Marius was and is a German citizen and in the days of Ceausescu that was a major benefit, for the mad dictator wanted as much hard currency, dollars, pounds, as he could get and thus visitors to the ‘commie paradise’ were encouraged to spend their cash in ‘dollar shops’ and had all sorts of privileges, Marius could drive his car when all the others were banned, on pretense of snow and just because a tyrant does whatever he wants, look at Putin and his invasion of Ukraine, in the name of an appalling lie

At least on the way back, we drove in a surreal landscape, because nothing was allowed to move, expect for the very few, we had a large portion of the road covered with snow, and we could not tell where the road is, expect in the portions where luckily, trees were planted on both sides of the track, and we then knew we had to try and make our way between them…it was so incredible, I still remember it…

 

That was some sort of benefit, but also a handicap, for foreign students were loathed by many, they had access to what the ordinary people did not (forget about what the vile clown from the Caro sauna claims, that the commies had it all good, he did, because he was one of the pigs or dogs, if a smaller one, not at the head table) and this gave them the chance to make gifts to beautiful women, who would choose stockings, coffee, cigars from the dollar shops (not all of them, evidently) over the smart, attractive, revolutionary humans like myself – in the next few lines I will brag about my role in the Revolution that killed the despot and brought the likes of the Sauna Creature in power, in a change that was so much worse than in the rest of Eastern Europe, the Czech people had Vaclav Havel and we had Iliescu and the miners coming down to the capital, in what was the Stone Age brought to the present…

 

 

Now for a question, and invitation – maybe you have a good idea on how we could make more than a million dollars with this http://realini.blogspot.com/2022/02/unique-in-world.html?q=unique+in+the+world   – as it is, this is a unique technique, which we could promote, sell, open the Oscars show with or something and then make lots of money together, if you have the how, I have the product, I just do not know how to get the befits from it, other than the exercise per se
