On most, if not all levels, this is a failed comedy, better avoided.

Sarah Jessica Parker can be charming as Colleen Gibson, Johnny Knoxville is very talented, although mostly dead as Dick Rasmusson, Claudia Schiffer is nothing but resplendent as Mary.

Nonetheless, the script is so fantastically inefficient that perhaps no cast in the world could make it fly.

Colleen Gibson accidentally kills her boyfriend, Dick Rasmusson.

She then meets with simpatico Daniel Gallagher aka Harry Connick Jr.

As it happens, Daniel is an assassin that…cannot kill, has never murdered anyone.

However, he can help with the body of Dick, which is dumped at the place where the Irish gangsters throw their corpses.

They do not like it when they are called the mafia, for they are Irish.

As it happens, the Irish capo di tutti capi had wanted Dick Rasmusson dead, before his fiancée killed him…

Oh, but why go on with superfluous details?

It is just kicking a dead horse.

For Life without Dick had been lifeless at Inception.
