Figlia Mia is a well received Italian film, with a commendable Metascore of 74...the critics have loved it.

It is the heartbreaking story of a girl, Viitoria aka precocious, brilliantly Sara Casu, and her two mothers.
The adoptive one, Tina, is played by Valeria Golino, the actress who has acted opposite Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise in Rainman.

The biological mother is Angelica aka Alba Rohrwacher.
Angelica is a very complicated, often wild, sometimes warm, but more than necessary disruptive, unpredictable, quite dangerous on occasion.

She has a female dog that has puppies, resulting from mating  a 'midget' partner.
Infuriated, the owner is making a scene, complaining that the animal is a 'putana' or something like that.

If the dog had mated some other male, the puppies would be sold with ...was it fifty euros?
Like it is, she is kicking the female and says she will not keep her anymore.

Even when she would change her mind, we will have had an indication about her tantrums.
Perhaps more serious, her own daughter would see the woman as she is performing felatio on a man that she would claim to be her fiancé.

When she drives with two horses, one in the back of her pick up truck and the other tide to the side, I was very worried...
This lunatic might push the acceleration and torture the poor animals.

It is unclear if the rhythm imposed was decent enough for the one running alongside the vehicle.
When they climb some rocks, the woman is again rather irresponsible.

Then she wants the child to enter a fight hole, on the presumption shared by some quite simple natives that in that rock there is some fortune to be found.
When the girl is hesitant, in the first place, for later she would follow the indication of her crazy mother, the deranged parent starts insulting the girl!

And then the poor child tries to use all her power to drag the unconscious Angelica on a blanket or a rug...

Figlia Mia is an impressive motion picture.
