Why is The Lord of The Rings such a smashing success, well
that would not be just an absurd, preposterous question, if this space had a
following, viewrers etc, such a thing would have casued a commotion, backlash,
and more, as it is, it is so refreshing to know that whatever floats through
the mind, it can be placed here with
impunity...as long as i do not venture into some dingbat, outre territory tat could
be clinically diagnosed
When the film came out, in the early part of this century, we
were living in Rosenau, in the center part of this realm, near the city of
Brasov, but right on the edge of an astounding forest, with one of the best
views you could get anywhere, and isolated like that (well, more or less,
eventually, the neighbors would drive me out, with their eternal pe la spate,
asa vor fetele toate’, the manele they listened to all day, everyday) i took
down to Bucharest about five thousand dollars and bought the screen which
is...right in front of me now, as it is used in connection with the pc...back
then, the 108 cenetimeters of diagonal were ultra expensive, on a plasm tv
One of the best films we could watch on this acquistion was
The Lord of The Rings and i must say that the knights riding on horses, through
the forests, the castles, scenery, nature were outstading, surreal for someone
that had lived under communsim, had to watch films ‚under cover’, in places
weher people would charge like at the cinema, but we had to sit in rows of
chairs, all looking at a screen that was a fraction of the common telvision in
Europe or America these days...in the Ceasusescu days, the official broadcast
was two hours per day, which would show you what the tyrant has done during the
day, how the masses had chereed him on, on camera, in their minds they had
killed him mutliple times, and they would in reality, on Christams in 1989,
after the Revoultion in which i took part, as i would insist and repeat at the
end of this note...lately, i have a standard end, to try and promote the
‚unique thing’ i do, and leave for posterity the most important act of my life,
helping bring Ceausescu down
The Lord of the Rings was thus a fabulous viewing experince
– or was it this new, otherwordly television, which was so god damn wide and
modern, incredibly costly too, but the way it was decided is this: first of
all, we were in ‚the wild’, and thus away from culture, so we could do with
something that would bring home entertainemnt, we could buy pirated discs from
Brasov, The Lord of The Rings was on such material, and then compenasate for

was crucial
Now however, when the film is back in the program – such as
on HBO the other day – it fails to awe me, no matter how much i admire Viggo
Mortensen, Liv Taylor, Hugo Weaving http://realini.blogspot.com/2017/08/note-on-adventures-of-priscilla-queen.html
and many others in the cast...
There is the case of Ian McKellen, who is obviously one of
the iconic figures of theater and cinema, and yet, somehow he strikes me as
pretentious, emphatic, the short of it would be that i do not much care for
some of the movies he is in, and given that he is towering over The Lord of The
Rings, well, there you go

which is incidentally the title of a phenomnal novel by Esther Freud (Iliked it
so much, it is now inscribed on a shirt i wear, and you can see if you watch my
youtube channel) the daughter of Lucein Freud, the painetr, and gradaughter of
Sigmund Freud, you know who the latter was, however less respected he is today
in psychology, where his interpretations and the vision is no longer popular,
he was anyway a legendary thinker, and his influcne cannot be denied, in spite
of the absurd insistence on castration fear, Oedipus complex, an more

and i understand that Tolkien was a substandard professor at universtiy,
although he is now one of the most adnired authors, or is it just the films
that audiences vote for...The Lord of The Rings is on an incredible sevenths
place

and he is the author of a number of books that have shaken my dibelief in god,
if CS Lewis has had that intense, ferevent faith, then why should i reject the
dogmas, just becasue they seem silly
Louis CK and other comedians have provided plenty of
ammunistion...in one of his latest shows (maybe the most recent, filmed after
he had been banned, or went into retimrent temporarily, becaseu of the
exposure, the news that he had been vicious with women, not to the extent of
Weinstein, for then he would have his cat in confinment, and then resurfaced,
more outrageous than everm, or maybe just the same) CK reads from...The Holy
book, the passage about the fig tree, which had not given Jesus figs, when the
Son of God wanted them, and becaseu of this failure, due to the season, or off
season, the tree is...cursed, imagine that, coming from no other than Jesus
Christ Superstar...
So to conlcude, assuming you disregard what maybe hundreds
of millions of people say, and take my advice, The Lord of The Rings is not the
divine opus that is advertised, or at least not if you look at it again, from
this angle, here...
Now for a question, and invitation – maybe you have a good
idea on how we could make more than a million dollars with this http://realini.blogspot.com/2022/02/unique-in-world.html?q=unique+in+the+world – as it is, this is a unique technique,
which we could promote, sell, open the Oscars show with or something and then
make lots of money together, if you have the how, I have the product, I just do
not know how to get the befits from it, other than the exercise per se
